Shawnee Mission Parkway, just 1/2 mile west of I-35

Pioneer Crossing Park, Shawnee’s newest park, located at Shawnee Mission Parkway and Melrose, features Shawnee’s role in early trail activity. Designed by resident artist and historian, Charles Goslin, a life size sculpted mural, figures of key participants, and interpretive text and photo panels convey Shawnee’s Trail stories.
