Music, fairs, celebrations! Throughout the year, Shawnee celebrates its rich heritage with a variety of special family friendly events. Beyond these annual celebrations, residents and visitors in Shawnee will find a host of other family events throughout the year – from St. Patrick's Day in March to Christmas in December, good times start here.                 Jammin’ on the Green - Anchovy Fishermen

Jammin’ on the Green is back for another Summer!  Our first Jammin’ session will take place on June 26th with Anchovy Fishermen at 7 p.m. on the Gazebo.  Bring the kids, the neighbors and grandparents, along with a picnic dinner!  Maybe even a ball and catcher’s mitt or Frisbee.

                Scarecrow Festival

Scarecrow Festival- October 3
Celebrate the autumn season at the annual Scarecrow Festival, presented by the Shawnee Downtown Partnership. Festivities include a scarecrow contest, pumpkin painting contest, baking contest, and activities for the kids.
