Whether you are Irish in truth or in spirit, don't miss the Shawnee St. Patrick's Parade, a great family event and lots of fun for spectators and participants. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. as the floats, bands and marchers head down Johnson Drive from Monrovia east to Nieman Road. At 4:30 p.m., plan to watch the 23rd Annual Duck Race as those quacky ducks swim their way down Turkey Creek to the finish line located behind the Post Office. Anyone can cheer, laugh and feel the excitement.
