Accidents happen. So does illness. Unfortunately, they don’t always happen during normal office hours. Your kids get hurt at a soccer game. Your toddler has an earache. You have the flu. These are times when you really need to see a doctor right away. For illnesses or injuries that don’t quite require a trip to the emergency room – but still need immediate attention – KU MedWest's board-certified physicians are ready to take care of you.

Hours: Weekdays - 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays - 9 a.m. to
4 p.m. Holidays - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

When you need to see a doctor...right away. Physician Now Urgent Care doctors and nurses are skilled in emergency evaluation and treat patients of all ages. With an on-site lab, you'll get quick test results. They can do blood testing, urinalysis and X-rays -- comprehensive healthcare in their convenient location near K-7 and Shawnee Mission Parkway, next to Price Chopper.

Hours: Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday: 9 a.m. to
5 p.m.; Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Special hours on holidays.

Shawnee Mission Urgent Care

Shawnee Mission Urgent Care's team of experienced, Board-certified physicians, registered nurses and radiology technicians are ready to give you immediate, same-day attention. No appointment is necessary. They have laboratory and X-ray facilities on-site to better serve patients needs.

Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Open holidays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. except closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day
