The Shawnee Convention & Visitor's Bureau (CVB) functions as a division of the Chamber of Commerce with an employee as CVB manager. The CVB serves as the face of the city by hosting hospitality and welcoming tents at all major events and celebrations throughout the year. Requests generated through the website, as well as other sources for tourism and relocation information, group tours and hotel requests, are handled by staff. Emphasis is placed on joint partnerships and co-op marketing efforts with both state and regional tourism agencies and alliances.
